You can use any milk you prefer for this recipe. I recommend whole milk for the fullest flavor, but you can also use low-fat milk if you have this at hand.

If you prefer using dairy-free milk instead, you’ll make this coffee taste even more different.

Some of my favorite milk alternatives are almond milk, and soy milk, which I think go very well with the other flavors in this coffee.

Which coffee is best used in this recipe?

You can best use espresso coffee or strong brewed coffee to make this drink a success.

Depending on your strength preference, you can choose to use a single or double espresso for this cinnamon mocha.

A single espresso shot will suffice if you like to drink your daily coffee with a bit of sugar added.

Brewing espresso shots.

Do you prefer your coffee on the stronger side? Then a double espresso shot will be the best for you.

I prefer a double espresso shot for this recipe. Because the chocolate sauce and cinnamon syrup are added, I also like to taste the coffee a bit, which is why a double shot is perfect.

You can make espresso coffee at home using a Moka pot, AeroPress, or an espresso machine.
