I like making my own syrups. The only one I have difficulty is Pumpkin spice. I don't like the texture when using pumpkin puree. I've tried pumpkin spice extract but it doesn't have the flavor.

Listen to your taste buds and smell, I always say. It is a matter of how your taste buds react to your smell versus your gut. This starts first in your mind (analyzing it), transmits to your taste buds, and includes your sense of smell. I can taste it before I try it and drink it. I know I am weird. I've been like this since grade school, according my family and friends. They always trust me.
