Ever since I made the hot version of this recipe, I’ve thought of making it into an iced version with the same sweet and balanced flavor and is also easy to make.
Below, I’ll go over the ingredients used and what coffee is best used to make this drink. After the recipe card, I’ve also listed a recipe for a homemade white chocolate sauce that you can make within minutes.
What ingredients are used in an iced white chocolate mocha?
To make an iced white chocolate mocha at home, you’ll need a few ingredients that you might already have at home. You’ll need:
- Homemade white chocolate sauce
- Brewed coffee
- Whole milk
- Whipped cream
- Ice cubes
To create that robust — yet sweet flavored coffee, it’s best to use whole milk for this recipe. Whole milk has the fullest and richest taste and mouthfeel, which is perfect for this recipe.
You can also switch it for lower-fat milk or even a milk alternative. If you want to use a milk alternative for this recipe, almond milk and soy milk will work great.
As for the white chocolate sauce, you can use the recipe I’ve listed below to make it yourself. It easy to do, and you can make a big batch in just a few minutes.
You can also use store-bought white chocolate sauce to make this recipe even faster. When you already have chocolate sauce at home, you can have this recipe ready in under five minutes!

What coffee to use in an iced white chocolate mocha?
If you want to make a very balanced iced white chocolate mocha with a good amount of robust coffee flavor, it’s best to use brewed coffee.
Brewed coffee can be made using various brewing techniques. I like to use my Chemex, Hario V60, or French press.

You can also produce coffee using your Nespresso or Keurig machine. Choose a strong coffee pod and let the machine do the work; it’s a great way to save some time as well.
Iced White Chocolate Mocha
This easy-to-make iced white chocolate mocha is a refreshing drink for the summer months ahead!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (0.12 l) of whole milk
- 1/2 cup (0.12 l) of brewed coffee
- 2 tbsp of white chocolate sauce
- A serving of whipped cream
- Ice cubes
Instructions
Once you've made your homemade white chocolate sauce, it's time to assemble the drink:
- Start by brewing your coffee. You can cool it down slightly before using it. You can also brew the coffee a day before and store it in the refrigerator.
- In a tall glass, add the white chocolate sauce.
- Pour the brewed coffee on top and optionally give this a stir.
- Now, add the whole milk to the mixture.
- Add enough ice cubes to cool the drink completely. I like to fill the glass to about halfway. In this instant, I used 8 ice cubes.
- Top the drink with a serving of whipped cream, and additionally, add another drizzle of the white chocolate sauce.
You've now made an amazing iced coffee. I suggest serving the drink with a straw so you can stir the drink before drinking. This way, you'll mix all the delicious flavors.
Notes
After testing this recipe, I believe the ratios work best and achieve a well-balanced drink. If you want to sweeten your drink a bit more, you can always change the ratios to your liking.

How to make homemade white chocolate sauce
Homemade white chocolate sauce is easy to make and even more delicious than a store-bought version.
To make this easy recipe, you’ll only need two ingredients:
- 180 grams of white chocolate
- 3/4 cup (0.18 l) of whole milk
As this recipe uses just two ingredients, you want to make sure you’re using high-quality products. It’ll make for the most amazing iced coffee you’ve tasted. To make the white chocolate sauce, follow the next steps:
- In a small saucepan, combine the whole milk and white chocolate. If you’re using a chocolate bar, make sure to break it up into smaller pieces, so it melts easier.
- Then, place the saucepan on the stove on medium to high heat.
- Now, leave the milk to warm so that the chocolate will melt. This took me roughly 3 minutes.
- After the milk is hot enough, you can remove the pan from the heat.
- Then, keep stirring the milk and white chocolate mixture until everything is well combined.
Leave to cool completely. After the white chocolate sauce has cooled, I suggest storing it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for optimal storage.
You can keep it well in the fridge for a few days. It’s a great way to prepare this sauce in advance for when friends or family are coming over.
