Coffee creamer is a great alternative to milk or cream. It is straightforward to make and delicious.

If you’re in a hurry to get your coffee fix in the morning, you’re in luck! This Nutella coffee creamer only takes five minutes to prepare.

It’s rich and creamy, chocolaty and nutty, and it tastes like it’s straight out of an Italian café.

What is Nutella coffee creamer?

Nutella coffee creamer is a combination of Nutella, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and heavy cream and makes for a delicious coffee creamer for daily use.

The combination of Nutella and coffee is one of my favorites to date. Nutella’s sweet, creamy, and nutty flavor makes your coffee taste so incredibly rich.

When combining Nutella with coffee, you first have to dissolve it, which takes some time.

If you’re in a hurry but still want to make your daily coffee taste a bit different, this coffee creamer is the best way.

Unlike adding Nutella to coffee and waiting, you can add as much of this delicious coffee creamer to your coffee and get on with your day.

Below, you’ll find the full ingredient list, the best coffees to combine this coffee creamer with, the number of calories, and the full recipe.

What ingredients are used in this coffee creamer?

To make your own Nutella coffee creamer at home, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Nutella
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Whole milk
  • Heavy cream
All ingredients that are used to make Nutella coffee creamer at home.

This recipe requires just four ingredients to make Nutella coffee creamer at home.

Usually, I make my coffee creamers with just whole milk and sweetened condensed milk. But for this recipe, heavy cream is added.

The heavy cream will add thickness to the creamer while leaving out some of the sweetened condensed milk, so it’s less sweet but more Nutella-forward in taste.

Now, if you love to have a sweeter version of this coffee creamer, you can make it with only whole milk and sweetened condensed milk, just like the vanilla coffee creamer and pumpkin spice creamer.

You can add your favorite coffee flavorings to take this recipe up a notch. For example, you can add vanilla extract to impart a vanilla flavor to your creamer.

Or, if you are feeling frisky, try adding some cinnamon or pumpkin spice. You can even experiment with different extracts.

Making this recipe at home is fun and exciting because you can decide how much sweetness you want to add to your creamer and how thick you want it.

Try experimenting with different flavors, and let me know if you’ve made a great combination, as I’d love to try it!

What do I use this Nutella coffee creamer for?

Nutella coffee creamer is a great treat for your morning coffee, afternoon coffee, or any time you want a chocolate hazelnut kick in your cup.

Basically, you can use it for any of your coffees. I found that this Nutella coffee creamer tastes especially great in combination with brewed Chemex coffee.

The Chemex makes for a perfectly rounded and mellow coffee, which makes it perfect to combine with the sweeter flavors of this creamer.

I often like to use a medium or dark roast for my Chemex coffee. These coffee roasts are great to add a little sweetness to.

You can also use a Hario V60 or even a French press for your coffee and combine it with this creamer.

If you love a more mellow tasting coffee, then filtered coffee is something you must try; it’s so good.

Do you love a more robust cup of coffee? Why not try brewing coffee with the French press?

Whichever coffee brewing method and coffee beans you choose, this Nutella coffee creamer will make it a bit more exciting.

This recipe will have you wanting to drink even more cups of coffee because of its sweet flavor.

Prep Time 3 minutes
Additional Time 2 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp (60 grams) of Nutella
  • 1/2 cup (0.12 l) of whole milk
  • 1/4 cup (0.06 l) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (0.06 l) of heavy cream

Instructions

Before getting started with the recipe, I like to collect all the ingredients. Once you have all the ingredients ready to go, follow the steps below:

  1. Combine the Nutella, whole milk, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk in a small saucepan.
  2. Place the saucepan on the stove on medium heat.
  3. While continuously stirring, heat the mixture until it's hot but not boiling.
  4. Once it's hot and the Nutella is starting to combine with the rest of the ingredients, lower the heat.
  5. Keep stirring on low heat until the Nutella has fully dissolved.
  6. Once all the ingredients are combined and have formed a smooth creamer, remove the saucepan from the heat.
  7. Transfer the creamer to a resealable container you prefer. I like to add a bit to a server and store the rest in a mason jar.
  8. Let it cool completely before storing it in the fridge. You can use it if it's still a bit warm in your coffee.
  9. Store it in the fridge in the coldest place to ensure it stays nice and cool.
  10. Shake or stir the coffee creamer before each use to ensure that all the flavors are well combined.

Notes

Use a whisk to mix the Nutella through the rest of the ingredients to make it dissolve quicker.
