What ingredients are used in this recipe?

The ingredient list for this coffee creamer isn't that long. You'll need the following components to get started:

  • Whole milk
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Vanilla extract
All ingredients that are used to make French vanilla creamer at home.

I like to use whole milk to make this add-in creamer, giving it an amazing full flavor. You can also use lower-fat milk if you have this at home or prefer its flavor.

The condensed milk in this recipe will make for that sweet and amazing flavor that makes coffee creamers so amazing.

What is the best vanilla to use?

As this is an easy-to-make recipe, using a vanilla extract is the best way to incorporate the vanilla flavor.

These potent extracts add a huge amount of flavor by using just a little bit. You can also substitute it for the following ingredients:

  • A vanilla bean
  • A tiny bit of vanilla paste

Using one of the above-listed vanilla flavorings can make your French vanilla creamer taste slightly different than using a vanilla extract.

The most flavorful option is using a fresh vanilla bean and infusing it with the whole milk and condensed milk on the stove.

This is also true when using vanilla paste. Both options give a better flavor when infused.

To do so, you can follow the steps listed below:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and place it on the stove.
  2. Heat it until it summers and turn the heat to low.
  3. Let it infuse for a few minutes, then remove it from the heat.
  4. Let it cool completely, and transfer it into a resealable jar for easy pouring.

That's it! After cooling, you can use it just like you'd when using the cold mixing method. It's a really easy way to infuse those delicious flavors from vanilla!

To what coffees can I add this French vanilla creamer?

Most of us love coffee, and we love cream with it. But not all creamers are created equal; sadly, most come in plastic bottles.

Homemade French vanilla creamer is a delicious treat and will make your mornings happier.

You can add this coffee creamer to any coffee you like to drink. I like to add it to a cup of black coffee, as this isn't sweetened yet.

"Pouring French press coffee in a glass.":

The coffee creamer will give it a fantastic flavor that transforms your daily cup of coffee into something more special.

You can also add it to all kinds of iced coffees. My favorite is adding it to a plain iced coffee, so you have given it a sweeter taste that is refreshing, and it also looks amazing!

This homemade French vanilla creamer will make your daily coffee taste even better!

Prep Time 3 minutes
Additional Time 2 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (0.12 l) of whole milk
  • 1/2 cup (0.12 l) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp (15 grams) of vanilla extract

Instructions

Homemade creamers are a lot easier to make than you might think. In fact, if you have the items listed above, then you have everything you need to make your own homemade French vanilla creamer from scratch. Here's how!

  1. To make this creamer at home, you'll need to mix the ingredients, so all the flavors are well-combined.
  2. You can do so by adding all the ingredients into a bowl and mixing it with a whisk, or you can add it all to a mason jar and give it a good shake.
  3. You can also add all the ingredients to a blender cup and blend it until a bit frothy, which will take just 30 seconds.
  4. After mixing all the ingredients, using one of the options above, I suggest storing it in a resealable flask or container.
  5. Place it in the fridge until you're ready to use it!

You can keep your homemade French vanilla creamer well in the fridge for a few days. Make sure to use milk that keeps well for a few days, so you can keep your creamer fresher for longer!

Notes

Remember, you can substitute the vanilla extract with a vanilla bean if you prefer using this instead.

How to make French vanilla coffee creamer without condensed milk

Condensed milk is high in calories and can be why you prefer to replace it with something different.

A great way to substitute condensed milk is by using heavy cream instead. Heavy cream will still give your French vanilla creamer an amazing taste without condensing milk.

This is a great way if you don't have condensed milk at home, so you can still make this delicious recipe without going to your local supermarket!
