Honey almondmilk cold brew calories

Honey almondmilk cold brew coffee comes in at about 74 calories per serving, depending on the amount of honey and almond milk used (and the brands chosen).

Most of the calories come from the honey, with the almond milk adding the rest.

How to make cold brew coffee

There is much to be said for making your own cold brew at home.

There's nothing more refreshing than a cup of cold brew after a long day of working or running errands.

It doesn't have to be a hassle to make your own cold brew from home, though.

"Cold brew coffee steeping in a French press."

Down below, you'll learn some easy steps that you can take to make a delicious cold brew at home with the ingredients you already have on hand.

You'll need the following ingredients to make cold brew coffee:

  • Coarsely ground coffee beans (80 grams)
  • Cold tap water (800 grams)

I like to use a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio to make cold brew coffee at home.

I found that this created the best-tasting cold brew coffee, which can be enjoyed as is or used in coffee recipes like this one.

Coarsely ground coffee works best, as it extracts all the coffee flavor over a longer period, such as the 15 hours I'll mention below.

The grind size of the coffee beans looks like this:

I'll be using the coffee and water I've mentioned above to make my cold brew coffee.

This amount will fit perfectly into a French press, and it will work great for storing the coffee for the upcoming hours.

You can also store your cold brew coffee in a large container or a large mug.

I prefer to use a French press, as it comes equipped with a plunger that makes it easier to filter the cold brew coffee after steeping.

If you want to make cold brew the fastest way possible, I suggest using a cold brew maker.

This cold brew maker works great, as it's equipped with a filter where you can put the ground coffee.

After steeping for 15 hours, you can simply remove the filter, empty it, clean it, and you're left with a clean cold brew that you can instantly use to make amazing coffee recipes.

Follow the next steps to make your cold brew coffee from scratch:

  1. Add your ground coffee beans to a container, large mug, or French press.
  2. Pour the cold water on top.
  3. Stir the coffee and water mixture until all the coffee grounds are evenly wet.
  4. Cover the container or French press with plastic wrap.
  5. Set this aside on your kitchen counter for the next 15 hours.
  6. After 15 hours, place the plunger of your French press on top and press down. It'll leave you with clean, cold brew coffee.
  7. If you're using a container to store the coffee in, grab a sieve and a cheesecloth or kitchen towel. Place the kitchen towel into the sieve and grab another container. Strain the coffee through your homemade filter system.
  8. Now you're left with amazing-tasting cold brew coffee that you can use in the recipe listed above. You'll love it.
  9. You can store any leftover cold brew coffee in the refrigerator for the next five days. Ensure that you store it sealed for optimal results.

As you might've noticed from the steps listed above, cold brew coffee is really easy to make once you've ground your coffee beans.

It's simply combining the ingredients in a large container, stirring them, and then letting the mixture steep. It's amazing.

I've also written an article about cold brew concentrate. Cold brew concentrate is a stronger version of regular cold brew coffee, as I've just explained.
