Why Is Starbucks So Popular? (Even Though It's Expensive?)
It’s hard to believe, but coffee wasn't a “thing” until Starbucks arrived on the scene. Nowadays, every high street, shopping
Hi, I'm Jeffrey, founder of Your Dream Coffee and a coffee expert with a background in culinary arts.
My journey has been an exciting mix of creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on experience, all of which have led me to the world of specialty coffee.
I began my career in professional kitchens, where I trained as a chef and learned the ins and outs of flavor development, precision techniques, and ingredient balance.
It was in those fast-paced kitchens that I discovered my passion for coffee; from crafting the perfect espresso to appreciating the delicate flavors in a pour-over.
As I explored specialty coffee, I realized how overwhelming it can be for home brewers to find reliable, expert-backed information, given the abundance of misleading advice online.
That’s why I founded Your Dream Coffee. I wanted to build a reliable resource where I could share tested brewing techniques and honest product reviews.
My goal is to bridge the gap between professional barista science and the reality of home brewing. This means everything you read here is developed and tested in a real home kitchen, not a laboratory.
Want to know why I launched this publication? Read My Mission to learn more.
I approach every article with the same discipline I learned in professional kitchens:
Culinary Precision. I focus on how roast levels and water chemistry change the flavor profile of your cup.
Real-World Testing. I do not just read the spec sheets. I test every grinder and machine in my own home to ensure the results are reproducible for you.
Flavor Balance. My goal is to help you achieve the perfect extraction without needing specialized industrial equipment.
I believe that anyone can make great coffee at home with the right knowledge, techniques, and tools, and that's exactly what I share through Your Dream Coffee.
☕ My favorite brewing method: Brewing a cup of coffee with the V60. I love the control and precision it offers, allowing each coffee's unique flavors to shine.
Outside of coffee, I love traveling, staying active, and seeking new experiences. Here are a few things I'd love to accomplish:
I’ve been fortunate to visit some amazing places, but these destinations are high on my list:
🌍 Australia
🎎 Japan (Visited in 2024!)
❄️ Norway
There's always more to explore, both in life and in coffee. Keep brewing, and I hope to see you back here to share this passion with me!
